In the last article, I shared with you the 4 most profitable niches in the world today. These have always been the most profitable niches and probably always will be. We discussed the "Money" niche and I got a little side tracked and told you some home truths. Let's get back on track in discussing the other "Golden Niches".

Money.

The world is full of people who would like to know how to make money online. You just need to point them towards those opportunities.

Health.

Everyone wants to be healthy, beautiful and young. Am I right? Once again, everyone is looking for the easy solution, another magic button/pill that will create health and wellbeing from nothing, out of thin air. Well let me tell you that health is a valuable commodity, if that is the right word. As a doctor, I should know. A little like wealth, everyone wants it but not everyone is prepared to take action to achieve it. Many more people will just mope about and dream about it and wonder "Oooh. It would be nice if I was fit".

Why don't they take some action, get off their backsides and take some practical steps to build and maintain their own health or wealth? Good question. Lack of self-belief, motivation, time, etc. All the usual reasons or excuses. So that's where this desire for the magic button comes in. People often just don't seem to know where to start or how to change their ways on their own. This is where affiliate marketers can make their money.

I'm not advocating that you promote hopeless products, rather that you should seek out the best products and then offer them to the eager market of unhealthy people who seek assistance in becoming more healthy. To do otherwise would be unethical. However, people who are unhealthy through their own lifestyle choices are motivated enough to willingly pay good money for guides and products related to health and fitness so they might as well be paying us.

Relationships.

Everyone values their relationships. These could be relationships with our partner, our parents, families, children or friends (don't forget pets). However, sometimes people have problems with their relationships. Passion can start to fade, communication can break down and love can turn to resentment. A problematic relationship can be a major cause of pain in someone's life and they may become desperate to rescue a failing relationship. Maybe they don't even have a particular relationship and they are keen to start one. Either way, they have to heal this personal pain and they look for a cure, a solution.

They become so desperate for guidance on these matters and lack the inner resources to be able to remedy these problems or themselves. They look for solutions in magazine articles, in newspapers, in books and also online. They type their problem into Google or click on an advert offering to solve their problem, vainly looking for some advice or guidance. When they do, they find your website which sympathises, offers some advice and then offers a final cure for their painful problem all at a reasonable price. They buy it, they solve their problem using the tools and advice contained within and you take your commission for being such a helpful affiliate.

Salvation.

Religion is with us. It is incredibly prevalent throughout the entire world in one form or another. It always has been and probably always will be. From the big, organised religions to less popular fringe religions there are billions of people all over the world who believe in the existence of their spiritual soul and a higher spiritual plane. Spiritual people strongly believe these things and have all kinds of other related beliefs too. Whatever you believe as an affiliate marketer, you can not deny that such people take spirituality very seriously. People who take a subject very seriously usually want to spend their good money on it. They have a strong desire to become more spiritual, often for fear of whatever reprisals their particular religion warns them about as a consequence of not becoming more spiritual. For this reason and others, spiritual people are highly motivated to find new ways to become even more spiritual and they often look online for just that. If you can offer them a well presented product associated with a promise to increase their spirituality/inner fulfilment/contentedness etc then you are in with a good chance of making sales.

Harsh or Fair?

I make no apologies for writing in a matter of fact tone in this article. The truth is that you don't need to have a personal interest in any niche that you are promoting. You aren't taking the time to promote products in order to "heal the world and make it a better place" (Michael Jackson). If you remember correctly, the primary reason for doing this is to make money. With that said, if you have an amazing new product or message that you want to promote and give to the world then that's fine too and the skills that you learn in affiliate marketing will allow you to make a good go of it. However, most of my readers probably just want to make a bit of money.

Exploiting the Masses?

None of this is exploitative. This is just advertising and delivering products to our markets. No-one is holding a gun to someone's head and forcing them to give over their money. Are Tesco exploiting you when you watch an advert for their latest DVD or fruit and vegetable offers? Of course not. They are just advertising and that is what you must learn to do too.
